The hotel was suggested based on location. It was central to everything we were doing in the area. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was well done. Super satisfied. Oh and the beds were super comfortable!

We have stayed at Hampton Inns before and trusted the name. We wanted to stay close to the Hocking Hills area, but all hotels were full. So we had to stay in Lancaster and opted to stay at this Hampton based on the cost, breakfast, and the trusted name. It was clean and friendly

Recently stayed at this hotel as part of a group of 17 people for a family reunion. Our activities were somewhat disrupted by bad weather and we ended up "loitering" in the hotel lobby breakfast area in the mornings and evenings. The staff was very tolerant of the group and allowed us to sit and catch up and laugh pretty much any time. This is a non-smoking hotel so we also monopolized the small smoking area outside of the hotel. I never felt like we were annoying anyone and everyone made sure we were happy with the stay; Front desk, housekeeping and even maintenance for an air conditioner problem. There's also the Hampton Inn special touches - coffee available any time, cookies for afternoon/evening snack, and a small snack shop. The pool could have used a lot less chlorine as it was overpowering in the indoor pool area but the kids didn't care. Overall - great stay!

Room Tip: Away from the elevator ding

My wife and I completely enjoyed our stay at the Hampton and the location was perfect for the thing we traveled to see. If every Hampton is as nice and employees people as good as this location then Hampton Inn has figured out the best way to run a business

Walls between adjacent rooms are paper thin. At 11:30 p.m. we could hear every word spoken in adjacent room and they were speaking in normal volume/tone. At 5:30 a.m. the other room's cell phone alarm clock went off like it was in ours. You have no ability to set your room temperature lower than 70 as it is controlled by management.
