Zeehan Bush Camp and Caravan Park
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed 16 April 2017

On the edge of town lies this hidden gem, we had a good comfy cabin not far from the laundry. The young family that run this park are very easy to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. I would stay again when I get back to Tasmania. I love the wild west!!

We love it at Zeehan Bush Camp and Varavan psrk. If you are exploring the west coast by 4WD this is the pwrface base camp.

Cabins are clean and comfy. Campsites are flat and sheltered. Amenities block is clean and the water here is HOT!

There is even a dedicated washdown area for your car/4wd witj high pressure gear.

The park is grassy with lots of trees for shelter. Walking distance to town.

Park owners are really accomodating and friendly.

Close to Montezuma Faĺls, Trial Harbour, Granville Harbour; Climies Track, Strahan, Ocean Beach, Henty Dunes.

Cannot recommend highly enough.

Thanks Matt, as off-road enthusiasts ourselves we aim to support like minded responsible 4x4 groups and individuals. We do have plans of other improvements to our park in this area. One idea we have at the moment is to provide an electronic 4x4 track log / diary in our camp lounge for guests to share their experiences and log track conditions.

The Zeehan Bush Camp & Caravan Park was a great camping base for exploring the west coast of Tasmania. The owners/managers were very helpful during our 3 night stay. They will even chop wood for campfires if none is available. During one chilly wet evening the chopped wood was replenished several times in the camp kitchen, which was much appreciated. The bathrooms are still being renovated, however, the renovations that are completed are very nicely done with some interesting touches. Thank you for a great visit.

When you approach the camp you will see it is truly in the bush. You can stay in a caravan, cabin or in a tent and there are shower and toilet facilities for your convenience. For meals there are hotels in town and barbeque areas if you prefer so everyone is catered for. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful and perfect for work-weary travellers who need just that. Rates are affordable so you won't feel you have enjoyed your stay less because of the cost. All in all, it's the perfect way to get away from it all!

Reception very helpful and friendly, we had one renovated and two un-renovated cabins but they were all nice and standard. A bit out of Zeehan close to the Tunnel where you can see glow worms. There is camping as well as a camp kitchen and also camper vans as well as a laundry
