This place has been our favourites, in fact the best place to stay while we were in Tassie. Each cabins are perfectly placed to give complete privacy from one another, with breathaking view facing the oyster bay, it is said that we may see school of dolphins or whales passing by (unfortunately we didn't have a chance to saw them at that time). The cottage itself is super cozy n warm, with modern minimalist with touch of asian interior, made us reluctant to go out once we've arrived there. The guy on the site, Alvin, was exceptional, he has such a service oriented attitude, warm and easy to talk to, very friendly and helpful. They also provide local wines, coffee (professional coffee machine), and some food in case we prefer to stay at the cabin. View is breathtaking and we opened the window for the whole nights, hearing sounds of the ocean to sleep to is very relaxing. We are definitely had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience during our stay here.

The setting is somewhat isolated, several miles from the next village. Which makes everything perfect. The cottages are situated among trees on a hill overlooking the shore and you can see the spectacular coastline as it stretches eastward. You can hear the surf hitting the shore all night. Gaze at the massive star filled universe out the window from your sitting room. Rise early and be stunned by the rich beauty of the sunrise. Just marvelous. The accommodations are well furnished, clean, comfortable and quite cozy. You can prepare your own food, purchase some select items from the "chef" and warm them back in your room. Beer and other soft drinks are available. Or you can drive into the village an take in a restaurant. This was a wonderful find. The internet is only available in the main office building. But, who cares, we were there for the ambiance, the nature, to views? Sorry we couldn't stay longer and we will stay here again when we return.

My fiance and I stayed at Hamptons On The Bay during our visit to Freycinet National Park. It was a fantastic base - only an hour drive to the park visitor's center, 10 minutes from Swansea township and central to other sites such as Freycinet Marine Farm, Kate's Berry Farm, Spikey Bridge, Piermont Restaurant and other lovely restaurants and cafes. The cabin itself was warm, spacious and furnished nicely. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was modern, with fluffy white towels! My favourite part of the accommodation was waking up to the spectacular view from our bedroom each morning... the ocean is literally at your windowsill. Our hosts, Chris and Kelvin, were so lovely and welcoming. Super polite and helpful... they put together a breakfast pack for us to cook in our cabin at very short notice which we were grateful for. We loved our stay and would recommend the place to everyone! If we visit Tasmania again we would love to return to Hamptons on the bay!

Room Tip: Cabin 2 was fabulous!

What a wonderful place to overlook the beautiful ocean. Curtains back, windows open and listening to the crashing of the waves was just so peaceful. The room was very clean and rooms were big. We spent two nights there. We did some local attractions and the beaches near by were lovely. Would definitely recommend her.
