We visited the Bark Mill Tavern on two consecutive nights during our stay in Swansea. On both occasions the beer, food, and service were outstanding.
First night I had a huuuge flounder and chips cooked to perfection and the rest of the family had wood fired pizza. Happy happy non-hungry family after that visit.
Tonight I enjoyed some cold Cascade draught schooners and then a seafood plate shared with my son. Num nums! Wife and daughter had other selections (can’t remember) but no complaints and then we shared some fantastic pavlova for dessert.
Carly was our maître de/waitress on both nights and she was such a friendly, cheerful, and efficient representative of the whole Bark Mill Team. That’s just it, the whole crew worked as a team to deliver great service. Didn’t catch all the names but the two James’s and Matt ran the bar like a well-oiled machine.
Chef and kitchen crew obviously know their stuff as evidenced but the great looking dishes delivered to delighted diners.
Great provincial pub with real locals and quality staff looking after them and the blow-in tourists like ourselves.
