We visited the Bark Mill Tavern on two consecutive nights during our stay in Swansea. On both occasions the beer, food, and service were outstanding.

First night I had a huuuge flounder and chips cooked to perfection and the rest of the family had wood fired pizza. Happy happy non-hungry family after that visit.

Tonight I enjoyed some cold Cascade draught schooners and then a seafood plate shared with my son. Num nums! Wife and daughter had other selections (can’t remember) but no complaints and then we shared some fantastic pavlova for dessert.

Carly was our maître de/waitress on both nights and she was such a friendly, cheerful, and efficient representative of the whole Bark Mill Team. That’s just it, the whole crew worked as a team to deliver great service. Didn’t catch all the names but the two James’s and Matt ran the bar like a well-oiled machine.

Chef and kitchen crew obviously know their stuff as evidenced but the great looking dishes delivered to delighted diners.

Great provincial pub with real locals and quality staff looking after them and the blow-in tourists like ourselves.

Clearly a local favourite (crowded on Easter Sunday afternoon). Cheap (and big pours) on the drinks. Band playing outside in the courtyard.
We also returned for coffee the next morning - great selection of cakes, pies and sandwiches. Coffee was pretty good too!

A group of ten of us dropped by and they catered for us no problem. The food is very reasonable and good, especially the pies all homemade. It can get busy but the staff are very efficient. There is a good variety of food and drink on offer.

Dropped in for a snack this morning. Ordered a croissant, lemon-ginger tea and a flat white. The croissant was nice though it was supposed to be served with "hazelnut chocolate" whereas we were given Nutella. The tea was nice but the flat white was pathetic.

The meat pies are homemade and mostly meat and very well made, very tasty. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking.
