Stopped in here after going on the wilderness railway. Menu covered a range of cuisine, we went with the beef pie and butter chicken. Staff were prompt to seat us in a slightly chilly room. By the time drink orders were taken we were ready to order food. However we were told we had to wait for a different member of staff which took quite a while. It seemed they were running a odd system of staff dedicated to specific jobs which was causing delays instead of allocating sections. Could do with some improvement on service. Food was tasty and filling.

When you get to Town after your long drive from Hobart, drop in & say hi to the Staff at the Hamers, order a Local Brew & take in the ambiance of the Local Pub & its proximity to the Harbour. If your not in a rush & you shouldn't, order some Lunch/Dinner & enjoy the sun setting & lights coming on.

We were looking forward to a hearty meal but what we got was a hot mess! Both meals were extremely hot in temp came out within 5-10 minutes and were just drowning in a non flavorsome sauce. It must have been pre-prepared. When politely giving feedback we were quickly moved on with a 'I'll pass on the feedback ' which left and even more bad taste in our mouths....sad customer service!
