We stayed here with our van over the Easter weekend-it's in a great spot right on the beach, however our camp site was not such a great spot! We were allocated a "site" in what felt like the back paddock which was very, very windy and exposed and a long way from the amenities. When enquiring why we were placed there when I booked 3 months ago I was told it was because I made the booking online!
If this is the result then they need to tell people to ring directly-also only 3 showers in the amenities block and a handicapped shower kept locked-surely it could be used unless required? All in all a bit underwhelming for our first nights in Tassie and after a long drive in the dark from Devonport-make sure you ring to check where your site is!

We stayed here in February on a lovely nice grassy site.
Felt part of a lovely caravan park.
We thought we would come back for our last 3 days in Tasmania as it as our fav place.
This time we were stuck in a dirty field out the back of the caravan park.
Waste of $105, we should have stayed at the the free camp 200m away.
Apparently they didn’t know we had a dog last time we stayed or we would have been in the field then.
Utter Rubbish as we always purposely say we have a dog.
Double standards as owners of the permanent caravans have dogs as we spoke to them.
We were made to feel 2nd class

We booked a waterfront villa and were not disappointed. It was clean and pleasant to stay in with a nice front deck. Great location for a walk and close to shops, restaurants etc. We would have liked to stay longer, it's a pretty little town with some beautiful views.

We just spent Easter in this ark. Even though the campground was completely booked out there was a friendly, happy vibe. Everyone had plenty of room. Rubbish was collected, the amenities were spotless, the camp kitchen also. We loved the snowy white bath mats which kept appearing in the showers each day. Full marks to this little park right by the sea in a charming little village in Tasmania.

Love this place! Staff very welcoming and helpful. Non-powered area down the back is ‘free-range’ which we love. Fabulous camp kitchen with two stoves, bbq area under cover. Thick white bath mats for everyone. Grounds are immaculate and manicured. What more could one ask for? Thank you to the owners and staff - and not your fault the winds has been howling now for 24 hours!!!
