Decided not to stop at our old haunt in Campbell town decided to press onto Oatlands for our coffee.
Coffees were good and strong I'm guessing longlife milk could be wrong.
The gentleman who served us very efficient range of pancakes on menu looked unreal and very reasonable priced.
Will stop again on our way through folks who complain about service and grumpy old men should focus on the product that is produced.

This was originally a Plan B after Plan A went astray. However as a Plan B, probably better than Plan A was ever going to be.

Cosy, village like with great food that did the job on what seemed like a windy as all heck day. I had to go the soup (Pumpkin) whilst the kids dabbled in the pancakes. Good coffee, good food that had that homely feel. Good service and great coffee. The stand out for Oatlands imho.

We arrived for lunch. The cafe was busy but we were seated promptly and our order was taken promptly. However we waited far too long for our meal to arrive (about half an hour) and were only offered water just before our meal arrived. The Mediterranean crepe we shared was simple, substantial and tasty. The staff apologised frequently for the delay which we felt could have been avoided with better organisation.

This is my second visit here and I would come again when visiting Tassie.

The food is beautifully, homestyle made. You can tell care and Time is taking in preparing and cooking the food.

Lovely, cosy place to eat.
