4 of us stopped here on the way to Richmond. We had the meat pies and never had better the rest of the trip. Also had great ice cream! They looked over our map and gave us suggestions and let us buy something that was not on the menu after it was admired. I was concerned when told the toilet was out back, which in the USA means a out house. The bathroom was clean! great stop on the road from Straham or Queenstown. We mentioned several times on our trip that we wish we could drive back to this cafe for lunch.

Welcome to the new owners and a sad farewell to the original proprieter. Food, service atmosphere, value all as good as one can get. Have called in numerous times in the past and on this visit, Sunday 10th, had the pleasure of meeting the new owners. Can recommend a visit to the touring motorcycle and car club fraternity. Best wishes for the future, this is an enterprise Hamilton has been needing for quite a while.

Called in at almost closing time on our way from Strahan to Hobart. Delighted not to be turned away after a long drive, we were welcomed by very friendly staff. Food was excellent, especially the 'tractor cake'! Very clean. Well worth a visit.

The Hamilton Bakehouse Cafe is now the Cluny Farm Cafe, a multi-generational family farming commitment to hand reared produce as the basis for stunning Bakehouse food and hospitality.
A great stop on your way north or south on the Lyell highway.
Hope this summer treats you, as it has us, with good experiences and the best of weather!

Called in here for a snack on the way back from Ouse, 2 pies & small soft drink $21.75 seriously!! these were not scallop pies or anything special egg & bacon, how can they charge around $8.50 for a pie & $4.75 for a soft drink, if we hadn't been in a rush for Mothers Day & thinking more clearly I would not have paid, plus we had to wait for over 8 minutes to be served. If your hungry don't stop here & if you do take out a loan especially if you want a full meal.
