This is a gorgeous view. A little of an uphill climb but an easy descent. Definitely worthwhile. If you go on to wineglass beach afterwards it’s a big climb back up or a very long walk for several hours if you go around to the hazards and hazard beach. Not for the less fit or faint of heart

Firstly, you need a parks pass to enter the national Park. The walk is steep in parts with lots of steps. The walk is only about 3km return.

I went on a wet day which cleared up on the way back. Spectacular views from the lookout.

A super walk up to the lookout, it takes around 40mins but not too strenuous, it would be within most peoples capability. When you get to the top the view is just stunning, I was there on a beautiful day which, clearly helps. Along with Cradle mountain it is a "must Do" this is the real Tasmania.

Amazing walk, a lot tougher than many may think so be prepared! Walking up to the lookout is worth the effort, take your time and have lots of rests and you will be rewarded with a spectacular view! We then decided to head for the second section of the walk, down the hill to the white sands and crystal blue water of the beach. Just amazing! As you’re heading down it’s hard not to think about the trek back up when you’re done! And it was hard! But take it super slow and you’ll feel a huge achievement when you get back to ththe lookout!
Tip would be to take water and some snacks to fuel you on the uphill walks. And take it slow with lots of rests.

Stunning views are well worth the fairly tiring walk to the summit to see the amazing view of the beach laid out before you
