It's a short easy walk to the falls lookout and an good view of the falls, gorge below and way out to the scenery beyond. There hasn't been any rain lately but still a good lot of water. Would be massive after rain. The rock pools at the top of the falls are so pretty and would invite you to take a dip on a hot day. This is one of the parks in NSW with a vehicle entry fee of $8 per day which is self registered. Not one car had a slip in their window. Stop at the platypus pool and you might get lucky. We camped at White Cyprus Camping area. The river here is nice too. Also worth a look is Morgans Gully day use area. Read about it on the signage at the falls as none at the gully.
