Another of the places I visited many times growing up, and had the chance to take my son there on a visit to Australia.
The drive from the highway is down an unsealed but well maintained road, and is quite a distance. Take it easy, and there are no problems.
There is a large car park with picnic facilities where you start the walk from.
The walk to the viewing platform is down a sealed path which is well looked after and signposted.
The viewing platform is not at the best angle to see the entirety of the falls, but it does give a decent view, and a spectacular view down the valley.
The path also has a branch down to the rock pools at the head of the falls, which can be a respite on very hot days so long as care is taken.
Not the greatest falls in the world, but well worth a visit to experience the unsealed road, the granite belt landscape, the magnificent valley view, and the sound of water cascading, with a dip thrown in for the adventurous.
I have been going hereon and off for over 40 years now, and will still return next time I'm in the area.
