We ate ther 3 times out of 6 nights in Yelapa.
Ray recommended menu choices and they were all fabulous.
The drinks were generous and prices very reasonable.
We will definitely be back.

We took a nap, and woke up at 6pm, the time everything closed. We were told he might be our only chance. We called and he waited for us, cooked us a nice meal to go, and called is an ATV cab to haul us back to our hotel. His resturant is a cute place, trying to be a calm upscale setting in comparison to a rustic (in a good way) town. Nice guy, who makes good food.

We are staying one night in yelapa while in Puerta vallarta for our honeymoon. Took a nap, woke up and walked to beach at 6 for dinner. Nothing open! Wtf. It's funny they hound you non stop. Then when it's time to eat...nothing. Went to a spot he said we just closed....he called a restaurant Ray's and they where OPEN 6-10THANK GOD!!!! He then called us a water taxi that took 10 mins to literally drive 1 min across the cove.. God. But RAY'S..He was great. And it was delicious!!!!! We got it to go cause it was getting dark and you literally have to walk across river to get back. And there is no signs and good luck finding your way around. Since We took last water taxi. He said I'll call you atv taxi.!!! What!!!! Yep sure enough a 4 wheeler with a seat for 2 more people showed up. And took us across river and all the way to the pier by our hotel. Bad situation turned out great. Don't bother with the beach bars and restaurants. Go into town. Ask people where to eat. I can't wait to explore tomorrow over there.
