“Wonderful Find”
Reviewed 15 November 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We stayed at Red Tiles for 3 nights at the end of the summer holidays (30 August to 2 September). We had a wonderful and relaxing break away from the rat race.

The house itself is very easy to find and a short drive from Shepton Mallet. On arrival, we were treated to a tray of welcome goodies, which included yummy biscuits, much needed after a long journey.

The downstairs of the house has a lovely well equipped lounge with TV, games and books. We loved playing all the games in the cupboard. The kitchen is small but was perfectly fine for our needs. There is also a downstairs bathroom. Upstairs there are two lovely bedrooms (one twin, one double).

The house is set in a beautiful location with lovely views over open countryside and the grounds of the house are very spacious indeed.

If you need to be in constant contact with the outside world the mobile service is patchy and there is no wifi. But this suited us well as we wanted to get away from things.

We had a great day out at Longleat whilst we were there and, if you have children, it's definitely worth a visit. We could have gone back again the next day as we had so much fun.

It was excellent value for money and we will definitely return.
