What views beautiful place. Nice pub at the bottom on the levels. Not too hard a walk so all can enjoy

The view of the Somerset Levels from the top of Burrow Mump is spectacular. The climb to the top is short but very steep - the view makes it worthwhile! Lovely to see the church ruins floodlit at night.

We cycled here in August and walked to the top with our bikes - best to do this from the nice open car park end, not from the pub/church end (where there is a small tight and steep set of steps up from the main road) before you get top the steep hill climb (however we still managed this with our bikes, but had to lift them over the fencing/swing gate. Normally some sheep on the mump so mind the pooh. Otherwise, the view at the top on a clear day is lovely and fairly peaceful too.

Good parking! No disabled access! Really good views around the area ! Steep climb to the top - avoid the sheep mess if you can ! Also acts as a war memorial!

We went up to the top of the mum on a clear sunny day, so the views were fantastic.

This is a walk that you definitely need to do in trainers. The mum shares the land with sheep, and needless to say, you should pay close attention to where you're walking!

There is no steps or handrails, so you may have to choose to do this on a day where you feel particular energetic.
