7 miles of hard surface for walkers/cyclists and horses. From Thame, via Towersey to (almost) Princes Risborough. One of the great SUSTRANS charity installations complete with some unique sculptures. We are lucky to have it available for no cost to users

I normally start from Morton Lane, Thame. Then cycle towards Princes Risborough,, bit boring at first and often feels cold in the section before you reach the Thame by-pass. Then open countryside, very nice ride, you can stop off in Towersey, small cafe at the garden centre just, just a short distance fron the cycle track.
Then carry on towards PR, good views of open country side, take a good map with you as you will soon have a number of choices depending on time, you can also find a good PH if you have the time!
You will note the return journey back to Thame is up-hill, just a bit but noticeable after lunch.
Gets quite busy on warm days and week-ends, parking not often a problem

Old railway line, tarmac until well out into countryside and the well packed gravel path which gets narrower as you get out to Princes Risborough. Views towards Chilterns at times, but not particularly interesting walk.

This is a well surfaced long path, suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse riders, and very popular with local people.
