Great cycle trail for the young and old with lots of sculptures along the way that make this trail fun. During the summer the presence of brambles and stinging nettals protruding into the path way can make it more risky for younger cyclists that are still getting use to their balance.

A very peaceful walk which i began a mile from Thame.A thoroughly enjoyable wander which cut through some picturesque countryside.I have walked many old disused lines and have never seen a busier one yet...this seems to be a firm favourite for cyclists,i walked past dozens.A fairly flat smooth walk suitable for all including wheelchair users. The trail is about 7 miles and goes from Thame and finishes at Princes Risborough.I walked about 3 miles before the heavens opened.....an enjoyable walk. The trail follows the line of a disused railway and has been surfaced with tarmac for much of its length near Thame. Nearer Princes Risborough the surface is less formal but still easily passable. The walk is level with small inclines over short distances so an easy walk or cycle. The route is mainly through open country except near Thame where it winds around the Southern outskirts of the town making it easy to reach from the Town Centre (for coffee or lunch or just a browse of shops or historic buildings). There are few spots for refreshment along the 14 Mike walk from Thame to Princes Risborough but the Three Horseshoes at Towersey is well worth a visit albeit fairly close to Thame. Look out for the works of art along the trail celebrating the lines heritage.

This is a beautiful trail, lovely views and perfect with small children - highly recommend.
It is very flat with grassy verges to stop for drinks and picnics and everyone else Doug the trail was friendly

Lovely walks along here with my new puppy & girlfriend. Always a nice view & such a calm walk. One of my favourites of Thame.
