“Beautiful Cottage”
Reviewed 19 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

We had a lovely week in this cottage, ideal for touring the cotswolds very quiet and everything you could need. One thing would make it 5 star would be a small welcome pack.

“Lovely stay at Cook's Cottage”
Reviewed 11 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Cook's Cottage provides the perfect getaway for a visit to the Cotswolds or nearby Oxford and area. It is well equipped and the owner is very friendly and helpful. It's location in England's favourite village is perfect.
Steep stairs would make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems.

“Cosy Cooks Cottage in Kingham”
Reviewed 25 March 2013 for a stay in March 2013

Cosy Cottage with everything you could need in a holiday home. The central heating is very good and the wood burner was very easy to light and added extra warmth and cosiness especially on a cold evening! Well stocked with wood and extra logs available if needed - a wheelbarrow's drive away!!
We were able to park outside the cottage on the main road without any problems.
Took some time to get used to taking off outdoor shoes in the small porch, although take your own slippers.
The stairs to the bedrooms are quite steep and narrow.
Quite central for all the "touristy" places in the area. We visited Oxford, Blenheim Palace , Stow in the Wold and Bourton on the Water. All of these are about 1hour max drive away.
The Kingham Plough served very good food and the staff were very friendly here. The village store is well stocked for those items you forgot to get at the big supermarket shop.Friendly staff.

Liked best: The wood burner and comfortable bed, although it was a softish mattress.
