Needed somewhere dog friendly. Great place with ground floor rooms opening out on to courtyard. Short few minute walk into Abingdon past pub. Great treat of full english breakfast brought to the door (small extra charge). Double room was small but had all amenities including microwave, tea coffee etc. Little tired but clean.

My husband stayed at this accommodation last night as he was working in the area. The reviews seemed quite good, the reason we booked. Perhaps it was a one off, but he was shocked at the lack of cleanliness in his room. Unfortunately the bathroom was shockingly dirty, however the worst find was the toilet contained "a poo" which confirms the room had not been cleaned!!! As it was very late when he arrived, and the late cover had left, there was no one to complain to. Breakfast was served in a hut, he described it as a transport cafe and left it with his clothes smelling of bacon. So many other places to stay in the area, in my husbands opinion do not stay at this place. Obviously he will not stay here ever again and would certainly not recommend!
Shocking!!!

Really pleased with the accomadation, small fridge and plates and knives and forks all there, even a microwave, and a list of takeaways. It is walking distance to town, but if you do walk at night you will need a torch, only take 5 - 10 minutes. Breakfast is taken in a breakfast cabin ( you book the day before to say what you want and times ) staff are all very nice and helpful. Very rustic as old barns made very good.

We used a mix of B&B and self catering to accommodate family and friends for a wedding and to see in the new year as well. Staff were polite and helpful and we were well provided for with the self catering. We have holidayed with a large group of us many times and this was a special time for . The use of the pool was an added bonus. All in all we had a great time.
