Hadn't been here for a few years as it declined a lot from what used to be a really nice place. Heard it had got better so decided to try again. prompt and friendly service at the bar and not bad prices on the drinks. Ordered the Sweet Chilli Chicken which was nice and hot. My Fiancé had the Chilli Beef Strips which could be upgraded to some kind of chips that came with a chip shop curry sauce on them (didn't really go with the Chilli) Meal was enjoyed though and good value at under £18 for the two of us. Place is a little dated and tired however!

We booked the hotel for a wedding at The Granary. When we arrived a lady (presuming the manager) was barking at another member of staff to follow what she wanted and even asked her if she was speaking French - very unprofessional and unpleasant to hear. Poor girl! When we checked in we were not told that there was a second key that would be needed for the back entrance if arriving after a certain time.
Restaurant and hallways very worn and stained carpets / furniture.
Bedroom was as expected for payment - window sill dusty with a few flies. Toilet could have had some bleach. Shower decent and beds clean and comfortable.
We were told breakfast was between 8-10. When we arrived at 9:35 we were told they had stopped serving breakfast and then complained. We were then told to take a seat. Menu stated fresh fruit, pastries, cereals , yoghurt etc. Whereas the table only had cereal and yoghurts. Cereal bowls had not been washed properly.
Both staff members on breakfast duty went out to smoke whilst there were two tables for breakfast sitting in the restaurant. Our bacon sandwiches were nice when they arrived.
If you are staying for a wedding taxis charged us £25 for 5 mile journey and £35 on way back due to it being after 11pm.
Would not recommend unless the establishment was refurbished and staff trained to be more attentive and informative.
Smiles don't go a miss.

Not my choice, met a family member who was staying here for a meal. In the main, you pay for what you get in this life. Never more so than here, £55 for 6 main courses including drinks. The pub looks nice from the outside, but inside it’s scruffy and not very clean, the staff are of a similar ilk, and many of the items on the menu are not available. Eventually ordered sirloin steak medium cooked, which arrived chewy and without a hint of pink, with sad chips and onion rings. We didn’t have great expectations from the 2 for 1 format, it is what it is, cheap.

We thought we would give this place a go, as from the outside it looks charming, and they also have a 2 for 1 menu. When we arrived, the place was mainly empty, just a few tables with people eating. The fact you can pick you're own table was good. The menu has a decent choice, and for the majority it is 2 for 1.

We ordered the Cowboy Burger and Moussaka. The meals didn't take long to arrive. The burger was missing the sauce that was stated on the menu. When this was pointed out, the sauce was swiftly brought over with no apology. The burger itself wasn't too bad, if very greasy. The moussaka was basically just potato and cheese, which was burnt. The meat was non existent.

We noticed whilst eating our meals, how dusty the place is. Above our heads were big webs of dust, that have clearly been there years. All over the curtains as well. This place clearly needs a good clean.

We won't be returning, it's cheap and not cheerful.

I came here with my family my husband had the Beef Brisket Cottage Pie with crispy pastry.
Well the pastry wasn’t cooked they were very kind to give us our money back as good gesture.
The workers were on there break with one of them sitting with his legs on the chairs which I felt wasn’t very professional at all
