The quirky front garden (managers idea I believe) and the welcoming and helpful staff (Anne) make this travelodge stand out from others. Felt like you were genuinely welcome not just money in the till.
Room was comfortable and had everything we needed,we had our dog with us so got ground floor room which was ideal.
The decor is a bit tired but was clean and everything worked as it should. Endless supply of tea and coffee and good TV.
Hand sanitiser on entry and masks to be worn in common areas, reassuring in these times.
The only downside was bed a little too soft for me but that's just personal preference.
Will definitely book in again when we're in the area.More
