We wanted somewhere close to primrose valley to stay for a couple of nights, after seeing the website it stayed in my mind throughtout all other searches.
I rang them on 8th aug 2015 at 21.30 to try get a double room for two nights on the following days, to my surprise there was one available , this made me wonder if it was a good idea.
no deposit was required(what these days), we arrived sat afternoon to be greeted by a quiet spoken Mick who showed us to our room, and it was the bees knees, clean and with en-suite, comfy bed with clean comfy bedding. the place was run by Mick and Sue(who we never saw until leaving the monday).
it is in a lovely village , with chiming church clock(not loud), Sue made lovely breakfasts and believe me we would not hesitate to stay again .
there is a chippy, two doors away and a take away too, two pubs just behind, the couple had no problem if you wished a take away but only wished you to eat in the dining room( they are happy to supply plates and cutlery).
thanks to you both ,we wish you every success
