“Fantastic location, well equipped property.”
Reviewed 13 November 2013 for a stay in September 2013

The property itself is very clean and well furnished with an very modern twist to the kitchen/dining area.
The location is perfect, its a 30 second walk to the main street where almost all the shops and eateries are. There is a really wide variety of places to eat and drink, all within comfortable walking distance.
I cannot think of anything about this property that I would change, I cannot recommend it enough!

“Lovely, stylish, comfortable home”
Reviewed 5 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

We really enjoyed our stay at n°17. The cottage is light, spacious and well decorated, with a homely and stylish feel, thanks to the vintage books and decoration magazines throughout the house. We were welcomed by Matthew, the owner, who brought back a large pot when he saw that we had bought lobsters and needed this to cook them. There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 children and plenty of space for everyone. The only downside for me was the fact that there is only one bathroom with no separate loo. Apart from that, it's an excellent accomodation.

“Fab cottage, great location!”
Reviewed 4 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Found this cottage whilst googling for accomodation in Whitstable, what a find it was. We loved it, i was staying with my husband, daughter and one of our friends. So plenty of room for all of us. Our daughter loved the attic bedroom! A well decorated and laid out cottage with everything you could need. A minutes walk to the main street, a couple of minutes to the harbour and the sea front.
We would definitely rent this again.

“Fantastic seaside escape”
Reviewed 8 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Myself and a group of friends recently stayed at No 17 for a birthday weekend. The house itself is stunning. Very well maintained and fabulous design features throughout. The bedrooms are all a good size and the beds themselves were incredibly comfortable. Our favourite room was definitely the kitchen - a perfect big open-plan space for cooking together and just hanging out.

The location of the house couldn't be better - a stone's throw from the main street full of cute little independent stores, cafes, pubs and also really near the harbour so we could try out some famous Whitstable oysters.

Really easy to get to from London. Fantastic value for money. All in all a brilliant weekend away from the city.

Liked best: The kitchen and overall appearance of the house
Liked least: As we were only there for 2 nights we hadn't factored in needing things such as a hand towel for the bathroom, soap, washing up liquid etc. Some basic amenities would've been handy but not a massive issue.

“Charming seaside cottage”
Reviewed 4 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Fabulously renovated cottage, with seaside charm and wonderful open planned kitchen.
Close to absolutely everything that we wanted, harbour, shops, beach, pubs and resturants all less than a 5 min walk.
The house was equipped with everything we needed, Matt sorted out a new BBQ and the beds perfectly comfortable.
For an extra £25, we were able to take our small dog with us.
The only issue we had was parking in the tiny road, we always got a space but it sometimes took a lot of skill to squeeze in.
