Have read Tony P's comments of three weeks past and it makes me wonder just what it takes to make some people happy. I regard the place as a breath of fresh air, in a tranquil setting. It's a small business but probably much the better for it. Housekeeping is excellent and would suspect the most charming young lady who both cooked and served our breakfast is also busily engaged with that. Yes, there is an occasional train passing but it is hardly Clapham Junction. When compared to the 1,000s of soulless boxes one can pay the same or more money to stay in, it offers an individual experience that I am sure the majority of people would much prefer. In conclusion a place I certainly did not feel at all short changed staying at.
