Very nice coffee great place if you have dogs as they are welcome too.. Not a lot of room inside though so you won't all fit in if it's busy anyway but they have a few tables that always seem to be taken as well

Thank Karen B

Friendly cosy and delicious coffee. Just the place to tuck yourself away if you have a spare half hour in Sandwich...maybe try a piece of cake too.

A one off place !Very popular and always lots of customers..Very good coffee and always a pleasant ambiance. Rather cramped [ hence "snug"] and not a place to exchange confidences [ all too close together]. Outside tables in good weather. Also has small events.

My favourite place to go for coffee and chit-chats in Sandwich. Love catching-up with the locals who are always friendly, interested. Great sense of community. And of course the best coffee around by a large mile served by one of the nicest, kindest men you will ever meet. Thank you Jonny for all you do.

Jx

Went here for a coffee after dog walking with a friend. First coffee was perfectly fine, hot and a reasonable price.
A third friend then joined us so we moved from the bar-seats to the lower chairs so we could all be together.
Just after we had ordered extra drinks for the three of us, in walks an 'established' citizen of Sandwich - you know the type, think they have rights above others....firstly she asks another paying customer if she can move her dog so she can walk past; she then looks at us three ladies and says "can you move, that's my chair!" pointing to a vacant chair in the corner in the middle of us.
The owner says nothing; my friend being polite pays for the part-prepared coffee order 'to go' since we no longer felt wanted, nor comfortable in the establishment.
We went to another local establishment that welcomed us, and the dog. Coincidentally, two minutes later, in walks the other lady who had been asked to move her dog saying she had felt unwelcome and uncomfortable in @Goats; she promptly ordered another two coffees and a breakfast sandwich.
Whilst the old lady may be a regular in Goats that Dance, I did not see a reserved sign on the chair and by my calculations she did the owner out of an extra £20 of business with her attitude and comments - let's hope she spends in excess of £100 in there every week!
