Owner description: Prince's offers all that is best in modern golf: with its 27 holes of Championship links golf, practice facilities to match and a centrally located clubhouse Since its opening in 2012, Prince's can now offer visiting golfers overnight accommodation in its 38 bedroom facility - The Lodge. Prince's boasts 3 loops of 9 holes: The Shore, The Dunes and the Himalayas, all of which have their own unique characteristics and signature holes and have benefited from significant investment and redevelopment over recent years. Players of all standards will enjoy the challenge of this links and the outstanding views. The Lodge at Prince's, situated at the entrance to the course has 12 bedrooms and two luxurious suites and the adjacent Lodge apartments have 12 two bedroom apartments. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities, club storage and battery charging points and wonderful views across the golf course or Sandwich Bay. The apartments are particularly well suited to golfing groups with a comfortable lounge in each apartment. In addition the Lodge offers a quality dining experience in the Brasserie on the Bay which was re-awarded 2 AA Rosettes in 2014 and golfers can also enjoy the Lodge bar menu in front of the warming log burning stove or in the Summer months on the Terrace. Prince's prides itself on helpful, attentive staff who understand your needs from your first enquiry to service during your golf day itself. Fourballs are welcome seven days a week and groups of any size can be accommodated.

Played as the first course on an itinerary that would take in Royal St Georges and Royal Cinque Ports. Princes is very good value, but in my opinion nowhere in the same league as the other two (some suggest it is, despite the price differential). Friendly staff but has quite a commercial/corporate feel to it. The course itself wasn't at all memorable - but I wasn't playing well...

I love links golf. If you can plot your way through a course without finding trouble you are a GOOD golfer.

I had some good 9's and bad ones. This is a great place to play and stay

We have just returned from a mixed golf weekend competition at Princes. It was amazingly well organised by Charlie and we had smashing lunch and dinner meals prepared by Paul their marvellous chef. Can't recommend enough this golf club for facilities, wonderful food and friendly staff. Stay in their Lodge... it's marvellous.

Having played the princes 27 in the open week and then in Darren Stevens and James tredwells testimonial golf days there was only one place to take our captains away trip, I spoke with the lady captain and it was all sorted. And we weren't disappointed, 12 of us had an extra night and the welcome was fantastic.
Charlie from the pro shop done a nice meet and greet to the group which went down very well.

We played all 27 holes over the 2 days which was a real challenge, the course was in fantastic condition and the weather was very kind.

After the golf we headed to the lodge. This was a stunning venue with either a sea or course view. The rooms were really nice, I was lucky enough to stay in one of the suites looking out over the sea.

The staff from the pro shop, bar staff and chamber maids were all very helpful to myself and Wendy as looking after 44 people is tricky at times.

Would definitely recommend Princes to anyone planning a similar trip.

My partner and I are looking into country membership off the back of our experience with Princes.

It's everything you want from a links course! Challenging when the wind blows with some breathtaking views. A real treat for golfers willing to test their own ability. The clubhouse is fantastic, all the staff are extremely welcoming we even had a welcome talk from the pro shop letting us know opening and closing times and handy hints and tips both on and off the course. All very accommodating and made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Would highly recommend this gem on the Kent coast.
