Had lunch with frends. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was good but not exceptional. The main downside was the food took nearly and hour to be served.

This is a lovely pub and the managers are really trying to provide a good service but the chef really needs replacing. The vegetarian option was inedible, our food arrived an hour after we ordered it, and even that needed prompting. It's a shame. The pub has good potential. Just unmet.

Visited this lovely pub/restaurant whilst staying at the Darling Buds farm. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. The staff were very friendly and told us about the haunted activity there. We purchased a book for only £2 which explains the history of the pub and the villages. Very enjoyable evening.
