Went here with friends for evening meal, had steak for main and sticky toffee pudding. Steak ok don't forget to order some vegetables as doesn't come with any. a dish of vegetables will be enough for two
Pudding was very good. Meal is a bit pricey

Had not been for over a new, understand new management. Welcome was ok and shown to a dark corner, requested a candle to see menu. Both opted for the Sunday roast beef lunch. Vegetables good but beef very chewy and disappointing, especially for £18.75, one course.

Service was very in one's face, with interrupting at any occasion which suited the staff. Possibly some training needed.

We have started using this pub quite regularly since moving nearby. I am surprised to read some of the reviews re staff as I have always found them extremely welcoming and the service excellent. The food has always been great, we tend to go for the Sunday roast option. Most importantly the beer is stunning, probably the best kept Harvey's going. Overall the ambience is perfect for us. We tend to take a 9 mile walk with Sunday lunch as the break in the middle, perfect Sunday as far as I'm concerned and the dogs get attention too!

Stayed to the Three chimneys on the 28th of January as we were eating at The West House.
It had been recommended by the West House. From the minute we arrived the Lisa and the rest of the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They tried to book us a cab to take us to the West House, as they couldn't get us a cab Frankie one of the staff offered to take us there and bring us back. We also had lunch there and it was excellent.
Thanks again we will be back.

Eat here with friends just before Christmas had been led to believe it was great. Food was good but the Dauphenoise potatoes were dry.
Staff were just not on the ball wrong dessert brought out for one of us one nearly had dinner in her lap, drinks given that weren't ordered just had a feeling it was all to much effort think maybe it feels it doesn't have to try anymore expensive so should try harder or train staff better.
