We went to Farzana's last night - probably for the 4th of 5th time, and this time was really excellent. A new chef is installed, and whilst the previous one was good, this new one is a cut above. It is also ridiculously cheap. I gather the name is about to be changed and will be called the Taste of India. Slight pity I think, but we were assured that nothing else would change. If you want Indian food, look no further. A really nice experience.

Dined here a few times and the food never disappoints.Like the wooden floor...makes a change from heavily patterned carpets found in some indian restaurants .Not keen on the pattern of the obscure glass in the windows. (reminds me of a loo)..and hated the blue plastic tableclothes...urgh.!! Service a bit laid back..ie they forgot our drinks orders. However the food is superb.

It is such a joy to find new restaurants that surpise and delight on all levels. The first thing that captures you as you walk in,apart from the genuine welcome from the staff, is the decor. It is something of a culture shock and just so different from the stereotypical ornaments and artefacts that often adorn restaurants.(That is not a criticism of such decor, by the way). The interior is calm, tables laid out simply and leather banquettes and chairs that are unfussy and comfortable. So, the senses are left relatively unassailed to enjoy the simple but flavoursome South Asian Cuisine on offer. Also, it was a welcome change not to have music competing against our conversation.

We were greeted cheerfully by a wonderful chap with a sunny disposition who recognised one of our party as a regular at the Sunday buffets. We were escorted to our table and promptly shown menus and offered refreshments. The menu is vast and even though we are regular consumers of this cuisine we took time to study the menu carefully. Some of the ingredients and terminology were unfamiliar but our chap with the warm welcome was there to explain and patiently take our order while we asked lots of questions. We managed to cover two meat dishes, a prawn dish, several vegetable dishes and an assortment ot naan and papadoms. The delightfully chilled Indian beers were a wonderful cool accompaniment to the array of spices and herbs intricately woven through the dishes. The meal was crowned with wonderful Gulab Jamun.............

The basic ingredients were never overpowered which was a tribute to the skill and subtlety of the cooking.Often, Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine can be just so-so. This fare was very good indeed and really does leave other nearby restaurants rather in the shade. The whole meal was very favourably priced and we look forward to going there again and again. Well done to the staff for creating such delicious, intricate and flavoursome cooking - not to mention the genuine hospitality and excellent service.

This excellent restaurant has not been open long, but is already a firm favourite of mine. Wonderful food, great choice (including some unique dishes), friendly service (providing home delivery too).
Good value and good surroundings. They even do a Sunday all-you-can-eat buffet.
You will not be disappointed.

The best indian restaurant in the leominster area by far. I have eaten here a few times and had a couple of takeaways. I have no complaints so far. Staff are veryattentivebutnot overbearing. Most of the times i ha e eaten here on a saturday night there are no more than two other tables, i hope they are getting enough custom to stay open!
