A visit to the Clos du Marquis remains always an excellent experience. The food could not be prepared better in France, the service is friendly and unassuming. It is what a restaurant should be: convivial. The cost of a meal is a fraction of London, for generally much better quality. A point I do not understand, how a French restaurant is classified with pubs and Italian trattoria? This classification of Tripadvisor does not make any sense and is annoying, as misleading. The Clos is definitely the Number 1 restaurant in Stockbridge, far away from the pubs mentioned.
