Visually this is a great hotel. Plenty of space in the car park, good sized rooms, WiFi charging ports by the bed plus the fact that while it has aircon you also have the option of opening the windows!

Let down was the staff. Checking in two rooms at midnight, and having problems with the auto check-in, the two guys at the front desk offered zero help only saying they'd had a long day too. Nice but I'd driven for 10 hours.

Then when we were woken by the fire alarm at 8.30am going on or off for 30 mins there was no check on our room by staff to confirm if we should have evacuated or not. I would have thought staff should have been either ensuring guests had left or could remain safe but no such thing.

Manager greeted us on check out to apologise about the alarm fiasco but this place seriously needs better staff organisation. People are key and if they don't care the whole Premier Inn brand is screwed.

Visually this place should be a winner but more work is needed on those who are there to assist guests.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend. Even though the booking was less than 7 days ahead, we got a Saturday AND Sunday night for £110. (I have booked rooms for two nights in October at £29 and £30 per night so the cheap rooms do exist!).
Forget the photos on here, the work has been completed. There is now an extension of rooms and a twin level car park adding to the already provided car parking.
Our room was the usual high Premier Inn standard with a 40" TV on the bedroom wall. We had a room on the third floor (yes there are lifts) with very efficient air conditioning- so much so we set it at 19c to cool it down whilst be enjoyed a drink and meal. When we came back it was cold in there so don't set it too low!
The staff here are a great bunch of young people. They all seem to multi task, reception/bar/ waiting at tables but could do with just one more person to stop you having to wait for attention.
The are just two comments I would make but that does not reflect on the staff.
1. Don't rely on your sat nav to get you to the front doors of the hotel. Apparently mine was not the first or last to lead to on a wild goose chase. Once you come off the M25 you will see the hotel in front of you, take the LEFT fork and upto the small roundabout and turn right there and you will find the entrance.
If you want to leave a window open at night (like we do) expect constant traffic noise from the motorway and surrounding roads.

I was very impressed with all aspects of this Premier Inn and would heartily recommend it to anyone. I am a very senior citizen, and on this occasion I was on my own and somewhat anxious as I was 30mins later than I had wanted to be. The staff could not have been more helpful. I slept well and enjoyed a good breakfast the following morning.
