Description: Formerly known as Wildens, we rebranded as Weavers Restaurant in January 2017. Our Savoy-trained Head Chef, Neil Wilby, still heads up our excellent kitchen team and front of house is looked after by our Restaurant Manager, Ridi Stanisauskas. Weavers Restaurant offers high quality, freshly-cooked food in comfortable and relaxed surroundings with a high standard of customer service.

A wonderful unexpected experience with high quality food served by friendly waitresses in a pleasant environment. Once the initial shock of walking through a village hall entrance had passed, we entered the restaurant and were greeted by the well appointed air conditioned surrounding (it was the middle of a heat wave!) and welcoming staff. We enjoyed a lovely 3 course meal skilfully prepared and all at responsible prices. This certainly is a hidden gem and we would highly recommended it. We'll certainly be returning on a regular basis.

Neil and Cheryl ran 'Wildens' in Great Dunmow succesfully for many years and now they are back. The food is just as good as ever, if somewhat less adventurous. The prices are lower, which is a bonus in these difficult days. The wine is particularly inexpensive and good. The service is superb. The entrance to the restaurant is rather strange passing through the village clubhouse, but once inside the restaurant you feel totally comfortable.

Beware - they are not open on Mondays and Tuesdays and booking can be difficult at times.
