Arrived in the early hours. Check in was quick, reception staff were lovely and a lovely man walked us to our room...which we were glad of because this hotel is MASSIVE! Late night snacks were put on for us which was a nice touch after a long day.
Room: we were luck enough to have a refurbished room. There was only 2 of us but we were given a family room which consisted of 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and one with 2 singles. Both had flat screen TVs on the wall with plenty of English channels. Main room had a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a dvd player and a CD player. Towels, slippers toiletries and robes were provided. Bathroom was lovely with a bath and shower and big vanity unit. Cleaners do an excellent job and and all very friendly. Balcony over looked the mountain and also had a veiw of the sea.
Pools: I lost count of how many pools there were. We mainly chose to use the upstairs pool which is next to a bar and the main restraunt as there seemed to be less kids. There were also a couple of kids pools which had a snack bar and an indoor pool. All were lovely and clean, never struggled to get a sunbed even if we didn't go down until the afternoon. Snack bar was great top serving pizzas ice cream and other various things.
Entertainment: Entertainment was okay, the team work very hard. Various kids entertainment on in day and evening including live bands, quiz, magic show, and musicals (most of which are Mimed) but still all good fun. There's also a crazy golf course, kids play area and arcade area.
In the evenings there are a couple of bars open aswel as a shisha bar in ten main entertainment area which was around 15 euros...Alex who works on the Shisha bar is great and a good laugh.
Food: The food is as you'd expect for buffet, can get quite repetitive after a few days but there's always plenty of fresh bread fruit and veg. The desserts are amazing. Breakfast is without a doubt the best meal of the day. They serve pretty much a full English. As well as fresh pancakes waffles, cereal and fruit...the list could go on. The restraunt staff work very hard and the manager is lovely. The drinks are fine, I found orange or lemon to be the best. The alcoholic drinks are very strong but that's always the same when eating out.
The dreaded hill: it's really not that bad! Unless you're immobile or seriously unfit the hill is more of a gentle incline than a mountain. There is a drinks station half way up and there are animals. Yes their enclosures are quite small but they are very well looked after and have plenty of food and shade. We often bought carrots and apples from the supermarket for them.
Star beach: is okay...the beach isn't much to shout about and it's much like Blackpool but hot. However if you turn right at the bottom of the hotel and follow the road for 5/10 mins there is a lovely much quieter and very picturesque beach...deffo reccomend! There's a nice cafe here overlooking the sea called Alexo's garden.
We also took a walk through the old town which was a flat easy walk, it was nice and full of nice bakeries and cafes but not an awful lot going on. The harbour is lovely and well worth a visit although it's worth getting a taxi back. We took the mini train which was 12 euros each that takes you all around the island. You can hop on and off at various stops it's well worth the money.
All in all of definitely return. The people here are lovely and manners go a long way. You just need to be polite and they're polite back. Brits are the minority here but that wasn't a massive problem!
Also of you're looking for a nice meal out I'd reccomend Yamas...bottom of the hill and turn left. Excellent prices, food and service!
There are alot of steps in the hotel and the resort itself is huge. They do an excellent job! The veiws are amazing and I'd definitely reccomend an afternoon on the Bali beds on the roof terrace...lively2and quiet and the perfect suntrap!

I spent a lot of time choosing this hotel for my annual holiday and spent a lot of money !
Can't fault our arrival staff we're very kind and showed us to our room which was supposed to be a family room No it was a double room with 1 put up bed and a sofa bed ,balcony you couldn't swing a cat on ,but a plus point it was clean.
Food was pretty standard, but buffet style what do you expect, soft drinks very sweet look after your teeth .
Entertainment crew did their best ,they were good fun , the poor Russian lad who's job was to be terrorised by the kids everyday to get thrown in the pool, then they almost drown him .
A lot of the other guests were extremely rude and didn't seem to care no manners ,pushing and shoving .
All in all I would not return .

Just spent 2 weeks here with my boyfriend on our first holiday, we throughly enjoyed ourselves and with a few tweeks this place could be perfect!
- Food. Do not understand the criticism, we did not have the same thing twice and it is really nice.
-Employees. They were always really helpful and kind, especially the manager who said hello to us every night.
- Cleanliness. It is a very clean place along with the pools.
- Lots of pools. There is always a pool to choose from but we chose the Olympic pool as it's were all the entertainment is and there was always sun beds.
- Entertainment. The crew worked very hard and always made an effort during the day/ night.
- Always a sunbed. Although I would advise to reserve as despite the signs people do reserve.
-Town 10 mins away. There is a good strip of restaurants and shops to choose from day / night.
- Good views. The hotel is located on top of a hill so there is good views.
- Rooms are good. They are cleaned everyday and they are spacious. The shower is very powerful and the balcony is nice to sit at.

- Drinks can be a bit acidic. I wouldn't bother with the soft drinks.
-Beer is vile and watery, have the cocktails instead.
- Animals are a bit unnecessary
- Need more staff in the restraunt but they do a fantastic job
- Never ever got a seat for the evening entertainment, even when we got down at 8:30 there were no seats.

Just arrived home after spending 10 days here. Check in was quick, we were shown to our room which was one of the new family rooms and was lovely, in fact one of the best rooms we've stayed in as a family of 4. Very large bathroom next to kids room with additional toilet/sink next to our room. Beds were comfy, cleaned daily, towels replaced daily, room was quiet. Didn't pay for the safe or pool towels and felt these should have been included as on every other holiday you get these as part of all inclusive! Wifi worked fine in the room and was free, worked around whole complex. We did have to get up at 5.30am to get a sunlounger but this is just typical wherever you go and I've experienced worse. We stayed by the quieter top pool all day, Olympic size pool was too busy and noisy! Snack bar is great actually preferred the food there and both my kids loved going there throughout the day for pizza, chips, ice creams and drinks. Pool side bar good for drinks, my daughter became addicted to the hot chocolate even during the daytime heat. Is a stepped complex but this isn't a problem unless you are unfit/lazy! The only reason I'm not giving a 5 is the main buffet! Much too busy! Not enough food stations in my opinion for the number of guests. Any old label was put in front of the soup! One night said vegetable when in fact it was fish! I didn't really find anything that was amazing to eat, I've eaten at much better all inclusive hotels. I lived off the fruit and yoghurt to be honest. You can go to the Italian once in your stay and this was lovely even though it's just the daytime snack bar fancied up a bit into an Italian. We did two trips, Knossos and spinalonga and both were amazing. Lots of Europeans in this hotel but never a problem to me as they are entitled to go there as much as the brits! I would stay here again if they improved the food!

Room Tip: Room 914 was lovely at the back and new
