My husband and I are on a road trip from California to Vermont.
While on a gas/food stop in a travel plaza, we chose sbarro for lunch.
Surprisingly good food for 'fast food'.
We shared a Spinach Stromboli and a plate of pasta with tomato sauce.
The Stromboli was made with fresh spinach, whole milk mozzarella and hand tossed pizza dough. The serving size is plenty for two and adding the pasta side was near perfect.
The pasta was al dente and the marinara seasoned nicely with fresh tomato flavor. Served with a soft garlic breadstick, buttery and good.
Lunch for 2 with a drink $15.20
Pizza, meatballs and soft garlic breadsticks also available.
