The special items they have are always yummy, the prime rib was just excellent, as good as the $40 - $100 restaurants, butterfly shrimp real tasty, the usual sirloin steak they have is very good also. Sometimes the special that gets the cutting board while still very tasty, is cold if you don't get it right when it comes. The fried chicken is among the best of the commercial chicken places, and much of the rest is quite good when you catch it fresh. as expected there are mediocre items also, but they do have enough good stuff to make you want to come back. BUT..over a period of going there always seems to be problems, not all at same time, but a few each time go, just seems to be there: side meat dishes way over cooked, food old should be replaced, food not replaced quickly when emptied, out of plates, (also still dirty/wet plates), out of silverware, out of napkins, tables not cleaned quickly, ice cream machine not attended to, (its out of), toilets not cleaned, huge line and one cashier, sometimes extremely crowded (this shows how good it is, but go early or later to avoid, if it bothers you), squished food on floors, just to mention some of the problems. Most of the wait-folks were very nice, and you should tip them. But over all you get good tasty food, and that's what you remember, and why you will go back!!!
