Stopped @ Jason's for a quick bite
On the way home to N.Olmsted from
Apptmt. in Columbus.

I enjoyed the Mesa salad which was
Fresh & delicious.

My friend ordered a corn beef sandwich with Xtra horseradish.
The clerk mentioned that horseradish has been taken OFF their menu. Really,a Deli?

Why have this sandwich, if no horseradish? Its like removing the thousand island dressing from the
Reuben.

Sorry Jason, won't be returning.

This was my second visit to a Jason’s Deli - first time here!! The menu is great and full of options - healthy and diet friendly! The grandkids love it and they have free ice cream for good children! I had the salmon salad with dill vingerette dressing. So good!! It was about ten dollars - I would easily expect it to cost twice that. It is so good. The menu is a lot to take in first trip but better than Panera’s menu. It is clean, reasonably priced, healthy and kid friendly. What’s not to like. They do great catering too for meeting and soccer games.

We stopped at Jason’s Deli tonite for a light dinner. This was our first visit and we were very impressed. They have a huge salad bar and free soft serve ice cream. What impressed me most was their excellent customer service. The manager took our order and was very professional and friendly. I ordered a large sweet potato, my husband had a sandwich with the salad bar and my daughters had a personal size pizza with a huge cup of fruit with fruit dip and ham/cheese with chips. It turned out that they were out of sweet potatoes and it would take an hour to bake more so I ordered a regular baked potato instead. The worker was so apologetic and even took the sweet potato off of our bill and did not charge us for the regular one. I did not expect that and will come back again the next time we are in the area. Very good food and service, thank you!

I must confess, I love this place! Just missing on a couple of points. I wish they had a good classic rye bread, not that soft version. Also no chopped liver! I really wanted chopped liver...
I still love this joint. Great pastrami, just the right amount of fat. Pastrami without fat is sacrilegious. Enough said. If you need a great sandwich, here 'ya go.

I first experienced Jasons Deli while living in Austin Texas. I loved their food then, and yesterday i found this one in my home city. I had a Reuben lite, a cup of tortilla soup and a small bowl of "free" ice cream. My go to had always been the Cowboy, I will get this next time with a baked potato. Or maybe just the excellent Salad Bar. Delicious!! A MUST try!!!
