We were in town for Comicon at the Convention Center. We stayed nearby at the Crowne Plaza and had the opportunity to walk the Arena District in the afternoon and eat there in the evening. Quite impressive. A lot of dining, drinking and entertainment options located right next to businesses and apts, yet it all blends together so well. It continues to grow as a real asset to Columbus.

Well planned out and a fun place to visit. Restaurants and bars galore, some inside and others outside. Something for every ones tastes. Located in the arena district is the home of the Columbus Clippers AAA Baseball farm team of the Cleveland Indians who play at Huntington Park and the Columbus Bluejackets who play at Nationwide Arena. Pricey area but the fun is worth it.

When they designed this area they really did a good job. Everything is well laid out and you can get in and out of the area easily even during a game day. Good variety of food options, readily available parking, and building give just enough shade on a hot and sunny day.

There are a handful of restaurants in the area and some decent bars. The arena itself is pretty nice for events. You will have to pay for parking and expect some inflated prices everywhere but it is since area.
