If you want an adventure on a beautiful property not far from the big city this is the place to go. The property has many opportunities to interact with nature. From the vineyards to the duck pond to the rolling hills and meadows with horses grazing you will not be at a loss for a visual and peaceful experience.
The building itself is very pretty . We requested a room change and was given one immediately. The rooms have two sinks making it easier to travel with others.
We understand that they will be remodeling this upcoming year. The rooms are comfortable but need some updating, both the rooms and some bedding.
We had entertainment in the main lobby n could purchase house wines to go with the free snacks. In the AM we were served a hot breakfast with ample foods to choose from. One of our party had a gluten allergy. The owner Julia was wonderful relaying food information.
We like carpeting over tiled flooring or carpeting but some rooms only have tile.
It maybe useful for guests to have an area to clean off their shoes after visiting the outdoors.
Good location, good experience overall.More
