We found the Guggisberg Swiss Inn this summer when taking my grandson to the Barkers Farm Camp; and fell in love with the restful atmosphere it had to offer. Everything you need to slow your pace down and take a moment to enjoy nature and each other's company; you will find at the Guggisberg Swiss Inn. It reminded me of my visit to Europe many years ago where I had the opportunity to live with a family in Austria. They were proud of their home, land, animals and each other, but most of all they enjoyed sharing it all with their live-in guests. During our 5 stays this summer and fall we took advantage of booking during the Murder Mystery (laughed like crazy), Sunday's cookout (met many wonderful folks from around the country) and Friday evening music (talented and just what a Friday evening needs; good music and a glass of wine in front of the fireplace). Such a special touch to the offerings of the Inn; we look forward to our next trip in December for the "Cookie Tour." We also enjoyed wine tasting and now look forward to a bottle of Concord each visit. The spacious lobby offers books and games for all to enjoy; we love playing games and always take advantage of their selection. A complimentary evening snack is set out for guests to enjoy offering local cheese, cookies and beverages. As I stated above, everything you need to rest, relax and enjoy your stay is offered. Our rooms were clean and comfortable decorated in a simple, traditional style. The staff was always very pleasant and accommodating to our requests. Feeding the ducks and getting a glimpse of the horses is the final "hurrah" of a stay at the Guggisberg Swiss Inn. Nature trumps everything else of course. We took advantage of the stables and booked a horseback riding session; the land is beautiful and the ride was very enjoyable. We learned the names of our horses and look for them each visit during their romp around the inn in the mornings and evenings. Since the horses are unpredictable and come down from the barn at different times during the day; it may take a couple trips to see them unless you spend your entire day at the Inn. You will not find this unique opportunity at any other hotel, inn or B&B around. The horses are friendly, the dogs are playful and most of all give you a feeling of being one with nature. You can forget the rest of the world and enjoy the moment. It's been our little piece of heaven. Thank you Guggisberg Swiss Inn for many enjoyable visits and making us feel like welcomed guests. Katy from Copley, Ohio

Room Tip: All rooms are fine; we like the room on the end by the gazebo

We loved the hospitality showed to us during our October stay at this hotel. The breakfast was great. The wine tasting and snacks that were provided were excellent. We loved the horses roaming freely and the nice country setting. We will definitely return to this place to create more enjoyable memories

Checking in ar night the girl was friendly but seemed disinterested. They offer no discounts and are over priced for the accommodation. The bed was soft and the pillows small and hard. View is lovely and the hot breakfast was nice but nothing to rave over. Morning staff a young Amish gentleman and he was very accommodating and went over and above to make one feel welcome. Overall a little dated and definitely overpriced.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor if stairs are a problem.

Loved this hotel, we normally stay in Walnut Creek which is very busy and expensive. This hotel is older and could stand some room updates but it was very clean and confortable. Very quiet and I loved having the horses roaming the grounds. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel, excellent! We will definitely stay here next year.

Room Tip: Second floor is adults only, no children allowed.
