Travelling over from Melbourne needed one night stay before grabbing the ferry to KI. Lovely, friendly little caravan park that I would highly recommend for all. They were happy to accommodate our one night stay with a small surcharge. Tidy little cabin with a kettle, toaster etc , clean amenities close by as we didn't have an ensuite cabin.

Secure park right on the Murray river. we stayed one night on the trip Melbourne to Adelaide. We had an ensuite powered site just for the ease of it. The site was well grassed and while the ensuite did have some age about it it was clean.
As others have said it is in redevelopment and I am sure that as the completion extends it will become an amazing park with so much to offer. When coming to Murray Bridge take the second exit not the first and it will take you straight to it

Room tip: Get a river view

We booked and Ensuite cabin for two nights from Friday 27th October 2017. Good people but poor cabin design/construction.

The development is still underway and doesn't look much at the moment.

BATHROOM - small shower recess with low rose, Power point on opposite wall to mirror and basin (try using a dryer or shaver with the cord stretched to the limit), no wall hooks to hand items, very small hand basin (washing your face and brushing teeth was a gymnastic experience), no shelves (we used a chair to avoid using the floor), hot water risky (went cold half way through my wife's shower, phoned the owners late evening and was coached how to keep the hot water running by turning it on full - ouch if the cold isn't kept up), exhaust fan very noisy, shower taps kept undoing the holding nut so would have fallen off if I didn't keep tightening them.

GENERAL:

Brooms kept in the corner of the living room adjacent to the television, television cords coiled up in the room corner and taken up the the high power point above, main entrance screen door had no latch or handle making it difficult to slide open or closed, vertical blinds at the main entrance left big gaps each end reducing privacy, hanging clothing was left to a 600mm long towel rail in the bed area (try hanging clothes on that!), double bed mattress was hard edged and was too large to fit into the timber surrounded base making it uneven and uncomfortable. All for $138 per night. On a better note the location was quiet.

Room tip: Don't choose the ensuite couple cabin if the above comments concern you.

Great little park, and it will be even better I think once the park is finished from redevelopment. Easy access for all size caravans great access to river. Even though the park is under redevelopment everything was spotless and the service we received was even better. Would defiantly stop again on the way to our destination. Was a very warm and happy welcome by the lady in reception, she was very helpful and gave us many of options to choose from! Service with a smile!

I stayed in the one bedroom ensuite cabin, it was lovely the cabins have everything you need to survive. The way they have been renovated is perfect! The bed is so comfortable and there is enough room to happily live in the cabin. I stayed on and off for three months and the staff were so lovely! I loved seeing them on a weekly basis, they were always so friendly! Any problems they solved straight away! I would recommend this too anyone!
