We had heard of this winery and recently bought a bottle of their Montepulciano which we found very good. Called in for a lazy Sunday afternoon of discovering their portfolio and it was an experience.
We were attended to by the Owner/Winemaker who showed us all of the wines they have and there wasn't a disappointing one among them. Very good quality wines of varying prices.
Tasting plates of food are available, matched to various wines.
There is a tasting fee of $5 per person, redeemable with the purchase of a bottle of wine.
Lovely surroundings enhance the experience.

Thank Brenton E

Excellent service. Tasty local produce, good selection of wines available, kid friendly, plenty of photo ops.

smaller style winery with tasty wine and bites to eat. Worth a visit if you are into Spanish or Italian styles of wine

Out today scouting for tasting and eating places. First impressions of WayWood wines were positive. Looked nice and quaint but small. There was a reasonable size crowd who seemed to be having a pleasant experience. The tasting area was very small and the arrangements were to sit at at a table somewhere. Not that appealing. There was a fee to taste which is off-putting. I do respect their right to charge this but as 95% of other cellar doors don't, we decided not to stay.

We offer a relaxed tasting experience at the table where you can enjoy our bushland setting.
No apologies regarding the tasting fee - only charged if there is no bottle purchase.
Our wines are all small batch, well scored by the experts and we are a Halliday 5 star winery.
With at least 8 wines on offer you would would hard pressed not to find something amongst our range that you wished to take home and enjoy.

We had a delicious light lunch at WayWood Wines. Andrew and Lisa made us very welcome at the cellar door. The tasting plates that Lisa presented were delicious, fresh and made with all local ingredients. .
The cellar door is in a peaceful location with beautiful views over the vines and gardens.
It was our first time at the cellar door and we would certainly be going back. We would highly recommend it.
