Although not staying in the retreat we stopped in for breakfast on a monday morning. It was not crowded at all (only 3 tables occupied) and the prices are the same as some of the busy cafes in the main street of Maleny. But here you get amazing food, a great view and some serenity. I say "some" because they insist on playing piped music that rather spoils to peace and quiet. The servings were giant sized and I just couldn't finish the pulled pork. But the flavours were great and the service of a high standard.

We loved our meal at The Tamarind. The food, staff and atmosphere were first class. We would highly recommend having a minimum of one meal...perhaps more.

We dined here recently for my partners birthday. We were seated in the back dining room which was very lovely and a lot less busy/more intimate than the front room.

We opted for the three course menu choosing our own meals. The bugs were amazing!

The staff really make this place what it is. Big shout out to Mia, Nicola and Renato. Your level of service and friendly nature really made it a wonderful night for us.

We have been to this restaurant twice now and the food is great. You can't go wrong with either the degustation or a la carte menus. The wine list could be better but there are great cocktails and a good range of beers to offset this.
