Stayed 2 nights at Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had dinner there on one night and the experience was amazing. 5 course degustation with the matching wines. Staff (Ty) was very knowledgeable and talked us through each course. All staff aimed to please. The room was fabulous in size and comfort. It was particularly cold for November and we were able to light a fire each night and sit and relax.

Dear Wendy M,

Thank you for your recent stay at Spicers Tamarind Retreat.

It was pleasing to read that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay with us. No visit is ever complete without dining at The Tamarind restaurant. Ty certainly does have a good knowledge of food and wine so it was great you could see that flow through in his service. Being situated 450m above sea level the temperatures up here are year round are about 3-4 degrees cooler than the coast. The retreat is a great summer getaway also with our outdoor pool and cool rainforest setting adjacent Gardners Falls.

We look forward to being able to welcome you back to the retreat again in the near future.

Kind Regards

Myself and my partner found Spicers Tamarind a beautiful resort. Our villa was immaculate, peaceful and perfect views. We had a hot tub on the deck and a log fire inside which sets the most romantic atmosphere for couples wanting a break away. The restaurants severed amazing food for dinner and breakfast and the staff were friendly and welcoming from start to finish. Definitely earned a 5 star review and we can’t wait to go back again

As you experienced the retreat is the perfect couples getaway with everything here you need for a relaxing, romantic weekend. The Falls Villa you stayed in is certainly very popular with an outdoor cedar hot tub and fire place it is a great choice for couples. We are glad you enjoyed your dining experiences whilst with us, a long lunch or dinner at The Tamarind restaurant is certainly a highlight.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the retreat again in the near future.

An overnight stay at Spicers Tamerind was an overall lovely experience despite the weather. Very pleasant place and great staff. We enjoyed a picnic basket in our villa for a light dinner and breakfast the next morning was the best I’ve ever had away from home. Lovely walks around the property. Totally relaxing.

Dear jensenj23,

Thank you for your recent stay at Spicers Tamarind Retreat.

The retreat is a great place to be when the weather is not great outside. Our Villas are perfect for snuggling up with a good book. There are some nice walks around the property and also in the surrounding areas, we can arrange picnic hampers if you would like to make a day of it. I will pass on your great feedback about breakfast to our Restaurant team.

We look forward to being able to welcome you back to the property again in the near future.

Kind Regards

Having spent a month away working in south east Asia this was a quiet down time weekend. Far enough away to feel that you're well out of the city and in the country yet close enough to be there in less than 90 minutes from the city. Beautiful quiet gardens with a number of places to feel alone & at peace with the world. A very relaxing environment.

Dear Craig G,

Thank you for your recent stay with us at Spicers Tamarind Retreat.

Spicers Tamarind Retreat is a great place to relax, unwind and have some time to yourself. Situated in the rainforest adjacent Gardners Falls you feel like a weight is lifted off your shoulders as soon as you drive through the entrance. Spa Anise is another peaceful environment to allow yourself to rejuvenate your batteries.

We hope we can welcome you back to the retreat again in the near future.

Kind Regards

We decided to spoil ourselves with a 2 night stopover at Maleny on the way to busy Noosa. It was pouring with rain when we arrived late, after a delayed plane voyage, yet the manager was still on hand to gather our luggage and welcome us with large umbrellas. Our unit was absolutely great, beautifully presented and clean with nice toiletries to use. There was a Nespresso coffee machine with a good supply of pods and tea bags, plus a packet of chocolates. They had thought of everything. The facilities were very good, the hot tub was fun during the rain and wind, Good quality and interesting books were strategically placed in the unit for those wet mornings. We would certainly recommend the breakfasts and a degustation dinner at their restaurant to top off the wonderful stay. Thanks to all.
