Owner description: We offer an Exotic Fruit Tasting and Orchard Tour every day at 2 pm. There is always ten different tropical fruit on the menu - fruit you have probably never heard of,with names like 'chocolate pudding fruit' and 'creme caramel fruit'.We show you how to prepare and eat the fruit, share interesting stories about the fruit from around the world, and then take you for a walk through the orchard which has more than 2000 fruit trees from the Amazon, Borneo and the Caribbean. This tour is not just a plate of fruit - it offers a special experience which cannot be found anywhere else and is great fun.

“Absolutely Worth the Visit”

Location everything and more, the noise of the Rainforest is deafening, awesome, the accomodation all I would have expected and much more. Terrified of bugs and things but so worth it, cannt really explain, you just have to go and see for yourself. Owners professional, food delicious. Everything just so different if you are a city person like me. Definitely would recommend Exotic Fruit Farm, going on our stay, would go again.

“Enjoyable and Informative”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 December 2011

I only stayed three nights in Cape Tribulation and hesitated about spending most of one afternoon at the fruit farm but what an experience. Trish our hostess was very professional and demonstrated some very unusual fruits. Bread fruit, pommelo and jakfruit I had heard of but jaboticaba and yellow sapote ? After demonstrating each fruit we all had a good taste, with plenty for all. At the end of the tasting Trish showed us round the farm and we saw the trees that had produced the fruit. Unfortunately the mangosteens which are grown commercially were not in fruit.

An extremely enjoyable and informative visit. Highly recommended.

“Tropical Tasting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2011

Coming from the UK, it was a real experience to see and taste other fruits, most of which we had never heard of. We now have a real taste for some of them and have our eye out constantly for new things! Such an informative day, with really nice people!
