“Quiet, nature lover's paradise”
Reviewed 21 November 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Spent a fabulous, warm, sunny week here in September . The barn was home from home, the kitchen was probably better equipped than my own! The bird watching at Snettisham and Titchwell were easily accessible and the barn is well positioned for visiting Sandringham too. Great places to eat in Snettisham and Hunstanton and Eric's fish and chips near Titchwell was well worth a naughty visit. We will be back. Thank you Gill for being so accommodating towards our very last minute booking.

“A holiday gem”

We travelled as a family of four with my parents and their dog. We had the worst weather possible, high winds and rain, for most of the week (English summer at its best), but had the best holiday ever mainly due to the excellence of Locke Farm Barn (LBF). We have holidayed in Norfolk staying at other rentals but none are to the standard of LBF.
First up is the size of the barn. It has so much space in all the rooms the six of us did not get under each others feet when we were all together.
It is decorated to a very high standard and is equipped with everything you need.
For the first time a holiday rental had enough cups, plates and glasses to fill a large dish washer. Cleaning products were all in the utility room (hardly mentioned on the property website) which was home to a large fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The provided towels were very good quality and freshly laundered. The whole property was spotless on our arrival.
WIFI was freely available, not something I have had before.
The grounds are fantastic. A large gated, stoned drive/parking area for three cars in front of a double garage. The rest of the garden is laid turf with a lovely outlook over the fields to the coast in front and over to Ken Hill woods to the side. As a guest you are welcome to walk through the estate and woods. Maps are provided and we had several walks through the woods.
The service from the owners was excellent. When we had a slight problem Gill came round within 10 minuets and sorted everything out without any fuss.
Although not a need for us, the property is perfect for people with disabilities as it is all on one level, has ramps leading from the parking area to the house and double doors throughout.
We have booked twice for next year already.
My only advice to the owners is to get the photos on the websites re-shot as they do not do the property justice.

My wife and I stayed at Locke Farm Barns while visiting family and attending Houghton Horse trials, the barn was extremely comfortable, welcoming and very well appointed, we could not have wished for anything better.

“I did not want to leave.”
Reviewed 16 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We enjoyed a fantastic holiday at Locke Farm Barn. The barn is in a great location to explore the area by car or on foot. The barn certainly has the 'wow factor'. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. The kitchen has all the equipment you could possibly need. I did not want to leave and we will definitely be back later in the year.
