This pub got recommended to us as we are from out of town and wanted a change. Tiny pub but looked clean from the outside. When we arrived we was welcomed by a sour faced bar maid who looked us up and down as we seated. We had to ask for a food menu whilst what looked like the manager was sat on a stool proping the bar up which looked really professional, a young girl took our food order can not fault her...we then waited 45 minutes for our food even though it was really quiet and their was only 4 of us for it to come out cold...hardly any chips with the kids portions and had to ask for more...over all not what I expected and I wouldn't return or recommend to anyone.

Sarahs Kitchen at the Queens Arms in Old Glossop is a little gem!! Had Sunday lunch with relatives, choice of top side of beef or lamb with all the trimming on big square plates it was so tasty ,every thing cooked to perfection and lots of it. The service is first class as well, there is lots of choice on the menu if you wish. had a lovely evening and would highly recommend we will be back.

Surprisingly good food! Had the breaded Brie which was lovely. Hamburgers were cooked to perfection. Their cheese and onion pie is perfect for cheese lovers as it combines different types of cheese. I would recommend this place! Bathrooms were tidy and clean and the staff was friendly.

Stayed here for the weekend, and it's lovely.
Rooms are really clean, with everything you need.
Very quiet in the rooms, so great for sleeping
There is a pub downstairs with the usual pub grub, and and Indian restaurant on the first floor, so spoiled for choice for meals!
Breakfast is a hearty Full English with all the trimmings.
Staff are all really friendly
Beer is very well looked after, and is really fresh.
I will definitely be going back again.

This is a really good local. I tend to go there forvtge music nights and the quiz, but it is just a really good pub with an Indian restaurant upstairs and good bar food too.
