What a fantastic place. Minutes from the A6 and A38, on the edge of Belper, but with a peace and tranquility that belies its accessibility. The welcome was wonderful, room was large and exceptionally well presented, breakfast was blissful. One of the best stays I’ve ever experienced.

We stayed here on the night of a friend's wedding which took place at Shottle Hall. A lovely B&B with a very welcoming hostess who could not have been more accommodating for us - from letting us arrive early to get changed before the wedding, to providing a late breakfast due to getting lost on a morning run! We didn't have a chance to fully explore the local area but the B&B was in a beautiful tranquil setting. Highly recommend

Very welcoming and comfortable stay - large and clean bedroom, with large en-suite and excellent breakfast. Madeline was very helpful about where to get a meal locally in the evening as well. Lovely garden views from the room.

Warm welcome, lovely room with excellent views, good breakfast (shame about the tomatoes) Homely atmosphere. Access a bit difficult up the lane. Lovely area for walks.
Carsington Water nearby excellent for water activities and ice cream.

Room Tip: All rooms good
