Well after a cock up by my friend who hadn't read the menu properly, we eventually got to try the deli board & boy was it worth the wait....

One downside - it's only on a Monday & Tuesday, which is great for me as they are my days off but she works Mon-Fri so we can only come when we have holidays booked. This needs to be added on at weekends please....

Anyways, either 3 items for £9 or 5 for £12, you can add extras too. We both went for the five items each & wow, freshly cooked & delicious.

I had the ham (very thickly cut & 4 pieces of it) prawns (small portion) onion rings (lots of them) chicken goujons (5 pieces) & chips (big bowl)

Friend had fish goujons (5 pieces) black pudding bon bons (3 balls) garlic mushrooms (went cold quickly) halloumi sticks (deep fried, big portion) & chips.

You also get 3 pieces of toasted bread, chutney & a vinegar dressing. We each tried a bit off each board & we were both very impressed.

We will definitely be coming back (when we are off work at the same time through the week) unless this gets added on at weekends.

Thank you very much for your lovely review.

The Head Chef and his team have worked hard to finesse our Deli Boards, they are proving very popular. The good news is that we will be tweaking our offer very soon to provide the Deli Boards more often. So keep checking Facebook for that news!

Look forward to you visiting again soon.

Kind regards

A nice place to stop for a pint or some pub grub. The story behind the mill inside is interesting, and the mill itself provides a different back-drop.

The beer’s kept well and is nice to drink by the fires when it’s dark outside.

Thank you so much for your kind review. The story board work detailing the history of the town mill took quite a bit of time to put together, so I'm delighted you noticed it. I hope you get the chance to visit again.

Best regards

The food was simple but superb. Very large portions but excellent. Only downside not much for the veggie in our group. Service was friendly and efficient would not hesitate to recommend

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this review. Such positive comments are always read by the staff and make a big difference.

I'm absolutely delighted you enjoyed your meal. We'll definitely take a look at the vegetarian options on a Sunday, it's really important that everyone leaves the Mill impressed. We do have a number of veggie options, but perhaps we need to add more.

Hope you get the chance to pop in again and enjoy our food soon.

Went for a bite to eat. Staff were polite . Bit chilly where we were seated maybe should have sat thru the other side where it was warmer. Food was tasty although not on the cheap side. Enjoyed the meal

Thank you for posting a review. I'm delighted you enjoyed your meals during your recent visit. I'll take a look at the heating, but we already have a ton of radiators and two wood burning stoves. Maybe next time, pop through to the Snug at the rear of the ground floor. It's normally roasting hot in there!

Hope you get the chance to come again soon.

Visited for drinks in February and again in March, there is an excellent selection of high quality drinks available - beers, wines and all kinds of spirits from around the world and many locally sourced too. The sauvinon blanc is delicious! There was a great atmosphere during both visits and adequate seating on numerous floors. Will definitely visit again.

I'm absolutely delighted you enjoyed your recent visit. All the staff and management work terrifically hard to source really good drinks in our three bars. Our recent wine tasting day, for example, was very comprehensive! I hope you get the chance to visit again soon, by then we should have introduced another six beer lines into which we're going to be launching our first ever selection of craft beers. No point standing still!

Thanks again for the review, it's hugely appreciated by everyone connected to The Mill.
