Fab! Great service all night. Loved the gin choices! I absolutely loved the meals, especially the rice pudding cheesecake!

A beautiful choice of food on the menu, excellent food superbly presented...really really enjoyed the experience. Can't wait to go again
First visit to this restaurant, certainly won't be our last. It is in a lovely Lakeland setting. Smart looking rooms and excellent staff. The food was excellent especially the ravioli and the desserts. Service was very good and all the staff were approachable. Best food we've ever had in the Keswick area.
A one night stay away and expecting big things after the heavy price tag £230 for DBB but we were rewarded handsomely.
The room was absolutely immaculate, and although the bathroom sink needed a good scrub, amenities were first class.
Views from the Superior Double were worth the money in themselves and the bed was 'uber' comfortable.
Dinner was 5 course and worth the money but wines a little on the pricey side.
Staff were without exception helpful and very friendly.
Overall a lovely stay. We'll be back!
In monopoly they say 'Stop! do not pass Go' in the Lakes we would say STOP DO NOT PASS THE LEATHES HEAD HOTEL!!!. Here Jamie, Jane, the front of house staff plus the amazing kitchen team provide high quality and service resulting in a positive and memorable experience, in beautiful surroundings. Nothing is too much trouble, the newly refurbished bar with its great selection of gins and single malts is a work of art.. Tea, coffee or a pre dinner drink in the conservatory taking in the view, a real treat! Or you can curl up in front of the fire at the end of a busy day if you prefer. Dinner, well where does one begin, definitely worthy of a mention are the delightful richly flavoured Chefs amuse-bouche which come before the soups which are varied and amazing particular favourites being Mushroom and a creamy Butternut Squash. Like the other courses on the menu they all have a seasonal feel using the best of local produce. Other starters include homemade Ravioloni and delights such as Treacle Cured Salmon, each a work of art on arrival. Mains such as the Lakeland Lamb namely the Yew Tree Farm Hogget being innovative, tasty and celebration of what is best in the area this signature dish is not to be missed. Other favourites during our three stays included, the Lakeland Beef Fillet, Pigeon and Seabass, the deserts including Pear- Fig Crumble with Anglaise Sauce and Honey Comb or the Blackberry Parfait are delectable. The wine list also contains an excellent varied and quality selection, with something for all budgets and tastes. The local cheeses are magic. The breakfasts - unmissable and great start to the day, so beautifully presented and pleasantly served by the friendly and attentive waiting staff. All of whom have a big smile complimented by engaging but discreet conversation. Overall the fact that we as seasoned global travellers have been to stay three times in six months, shows how highly we rate the hotel. We cannot wait to go back in the spring of next year. Book, go and enjoy, you wont be disappointed and you will get value for money and warm welcome.
