I was just a wedding guest so I had no real insight into what it’s like to stay here.
Nice building, excellent terrace and superb gardens with formal parts for the ceremony and other bits you can wander around. The couple and almost all the guests had a splendid time.
The owner and some of the staff need to work on their attitude. He was a bit officious and very involved when not appropriate.
Most of the staff were charming but at the end of the evening an elderly lady slipped and cut her head. Not the fault of the venue in my view, but the woman who insisted she was first aid trained and that no stitches were required needs some serious retraining. And she insisted they had no first aid kit!
Fortunately there were 3 or more real Drs among the guests who took charge and all ended happily (an ambulance and 7 stitches btw).More
