A proper pub with open fireplace and creaky floorboards!
A great selection of ales with some pickled eggs too. Great for a drink and the burgers aren’t bad either.

Thank Jack A

We had a fantastic meal here - the pies are amazing! Good service from Jen and Luca and we really enjoyed the wine and desserts as well. Everything was perfect.

Food is second to none. Bar staff were friendly and very quick to serve me. On the Friday night they handed out free nibbles (roast potatoes with dips) to all customers.
I will definitely return.

Thank Ben G

The staff are really friendly and efficient with out being obtrusive. Food was excellent quality. Atmosphere relaxed with great music. A lovely night out in nice surroundings.
Olivia was a great waitress.

Stopped off at Nantwich whilst on a narrowboat and came across the Cheshire Cat as we walked into town. Early evening on a Monday and it was quiet, but we had a tasty little tapas. Only a small choice but very nice, well presented and reasonably quick. We ate in the conservatory which was light and airy ideal for a cool evening. Served by Luca who was friendly and helpful and such a nice chap. Meal deal on the night was 3 for 2 which made it all the more likeable.
